LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A 17-year-old boy suspected of taking pictures a 14-year-old boy on Dec. 16 inside a cell house within the 300 block of Candlelight Plaza turned himself to police Monday afternoon on the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Workplace.
On Dec. 16, the 17-year-old ran away after the taking pictures contained in the cell house west of West Lafayette, in accordance with sheriff’s workplace stories.
{The teenager} was booked right into a juvenile detention middle in one other county on Monday. He’s suspected of housebreaking with critical bodily damage, aggravated battery with a lethal weapon, intimidation with a lethal weapon, intimidation and harmful possession of a firearm, in accordance with the sheriff’s workplace.

After the taking pictures, the 14-year-old boy was taken to Riley’s Hospital for Kids in Indianapolis. A member of the family instructed the Journal & Courier final month that the boy endured two surgical procedures.
The 14-year-old boy is in secure situation, the sheriff’s workplace stated Thursday.
