The Covington Police Division is investigating after two folks have been killed in a small aircraft crash Saturday evening.
Police responded to the Covington Municipal Airport at earlier than midnight after receiving a name from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) a few single-engine aircraft that had taken off at about 11:40 p.m.

Police recognized the victims as Janet Hardee, 59, and James Hardee, 62. Each have been pronounced useless on the scene by officers.

The FAA stated the aircraft was a Rockwell Commander.
Airport officers stated there was no communication from the aircraft after takeoff.
Officers discovered the airplane within the woods simply north of the runway the place they discovered two folks with the aircraft.
