SAN JOSE, Calif. – Two ladies had been arrested in San Jose after being accused of working a number of brothels, police mentioned Thursday.
The pair, 46-year-old Tien Tran and 50-year-old Bili Ruan, had been charged with pimping and pandering.
The backstory
On March 28, SJPD’s Human Trafficking Activity Drive, with a number of businesses, together with the U.S. State Division, executed a number of search warrants focusing on the suspected brothels at companies on Tully Highway, Willow Avenue, and North Jackson Avenue.
