A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck 42 km east of Sidney, B.C., Monday morning.
The earthquake, which occurred at 5:02 a.m. PT, was evenly felt round Victoria and Vancouver, in line with Earthquakes Canada.
It occurred close to Orcas Island, Wash., which is between Vancouver and Seattle and simply south of B.C.’s Southern Gulf Islands.
A press release stated there aren’t any reviews of injury, and a public alert was not issued as a result of the magnitude and depth had been beneath thresholds at which hurt is perhaps anticipated.
