A 73-year-old man was discovered useless after a home fireplace within the small Nova Scotia neighborhood of Shubenacadie.
RCMP say that at 7:15 a.m. police and fireplace companies responded to a hearth in a house alongside Freeway 215, within the village about 60 kilometres northeast of Halifax.

Two of the house’s occupants, a 65-year-old man and 57-year-old girl, exited the home with out accidents.
The third occupant, the 73-year-old, was pronounced useless on the scene.
Police say the fireplace shouldn’t be thought-about suspicious.
RCMP are investigating the fireplace with assist from the fireplace marshal and health worker.
