A B.C. grandmother who went missing last October, prompting a large search, has been discovered deceased.
Langley RCMP confirmed the information on Wednesday that Jane Whitehouse, 82, was discovered lifeless alongside a treacherous street. They mentioned no foul play is suspected in her loss of life.
Whitehouse was reported lacking on Oct. 25, 2024.
In November, Cpl. Zynal Sharoom with Langley RCMP advised International Information that Whitehouse was final seen in Langley driving her gray Dodge Caravan.

He mentioned on Oct. 27, Agassiz RCMP knowledgeable them that they’d discovered the Caravan alongside Hicks Lake Street, a forest service street north of Harrison Scorching Springs.
On the time, Melanie Sora, a good friend of the household, mentioned Whitehouse wouldn’t go up that street.
Whitehouse was described as “the epitome of what a mom and grandmother is.”
