A Politico columnist criticized President Biden for his last selection of Medal of Freedom recipients, which included liberal figures like Hillary Clinton and billionaire George Soros.
Politico senior editor Michael Schaffer wrote that Biden’s award selections ship a robust sign that Democrats “are out of contact” and argued that the respect, as soon as above politics, has now turn into one other political battleground.
