CNN reporters and hosts stated Monday that President Biden’s resolution to pardon his family members within the waning minutes of his administration tarnished his fame and was “a stain on his legacy.”

CNN commentator and “The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin argued in the course of the dialogue the pardon of members of the family was “a lot muddier” than his last-minute pardons of Liz Cheney, Gen. Mark Milley and Anthony Fauci.

In December 2020, CNN anchor Jake Tapper requested Biden if he was involved about rumors that Trump, who he had simply defeated, would dole out a wave of preemptive pardons for a few of his closest confidantes.
