American boxer Devin Haney took intention at Sylvester Stallone over the actor’s latest commentary on the present state of boxing.
Stallone, a three-time Academy Award nominee, acquired important approval for his portrayal of famend Philadelphia boxer Rocky Balboa within the iconic movie franchise.
A video not too long ago surfaced on social media displaying Stallone holding the gloves he wore within the mid Seventies through the filming of the unique sports activities drama film. At one level through the video, Stallone instructed the gloves have been equivalent to what professional boxers used within the 70s.

Haney disagreed with Stallone’s assertion and shared his rebuttal by way of X, previously generally known as Twitter.

“Dude do not know a left hook from a fish hook, and acquired the nerve to talk on instances being simpler in boxing like he wasn’t simply an actor… Buddy them Rocky motion pictures weren’t actual,” Haney wrote.
Final April’s upset defeat to Ryan Garcia marked Haney’s most up-to-date look in knowledgeable bout.
