U.S. President Joe Biden bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the very best civilian honour within the U.S., to Canadian actor Michael J. Fox and others on Saturday.

Fox, who was born in Alberta and starred within the Again to the Future film franchise, publicly disclosed that he was recognized with Parkinson’s in 1991 at age 29 and based the Michael J. Fox Basis in 2000 for Parkinson’s analysis.
