A sailor with the Royal Canadian Navy has died after an incident throughout small-boat operations in Halifax’s Bedford Basin on Friday night time.
Based on a press release from the Maritime Forces, two sailors had been working a rigid-hull inflatable that overturned and capsized at about 10 p.m. on Friday.
Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre Halifax co-ordinated a rescue with ships that had been indifferent from the Canadian Coast Guard. The 2 sailors within the boat had been pulled from the water and dropped at Mill Cove jetty, the place paramedics transferred them to the QEII Well being Sciences Centre in Halifax.
