Chaos erupted at an Oregon faculty Monday night time as 5 individuals have been arrested for protesting a speech given by former faculty swimmer and trans-athlete critic Riley Gaines.
Gaines, a 12-time NCAA All-American swimmer who gained a following talking out towards transgender athletes competing towards feminine athletes, was scheduled to present a chat at Portland State College’s Smith Memorial Scholar Union, KPTV reported.
Video shared on X by Andy Ngo confirmed fired-up protesters making an attempt to open the doorways of the scholar union as police labored to maintain them out.
College students could be heard yelling “F*** you, pigs!” within the clip, which Gaines later retweeted, writing, “They are surely such a joyful, tolerant bunch.”
