China’s navy on Monday condemned the crusing of a Canadian warship within the Taiwan Strait, saying its air and naval forces had monitored and warned the ship.
Canada’s actions “intentionally stirred up hassle” and undermined peace and stability within the strait, the Folks’s Liberation Military’s Jap Theatre Command stated in a press release.
There was no quick response by International Affairs Canada to the Chinese language assertion.
