A safety guard and deacon at a Gulfport church died in a taking pictures Saturday when he tried to intervene in a home violence dispute that turned bodily at a church occasion, authorities confirmed Saturday.
Gulfport police arrived on the scene at Goldin Sports activities Complicated at 2:05 p.m. and located that two folks had been shot and injured, and a 3rd was useless, Gulfport Police Lt. Jason Ducre stated.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer recognized the deceased as Eddie Shed, 39, of McHenry. He died on the scene of a number of gunshot wounds, Switzer stated.
