Cleveland-Cliffs CEO attacks Japan as he reiterates interest in acquiring U.S. Steel

Cleveland-Cliffs CEO Lourenco Goncalves stated Monday he had a plan to purchase U.S. Steel as he launched a tirade towards Japan, calling the shut U.S. ally “evil” throughout a press convention.

Goncalves feedback got here after CNBC reported earlier Monday that Cleveland-Cliffs is partnering with Nucor in a possible bid for U.S. Metal.
