Six months after Clint Eastwood‘s longtime girlfriend, Christina Sandera, died, the 94-year-old’s son is sharing a uncommon replace on how the veteran actor has been holding up.
In a brand new interview, Scott Eastwood opened up about his dad’s grief journey up to now.
“He is good. He is doing good,” Scott instructed People journal. “He’s a survivor, a trouper.”
In July, Clint introduced that his girlfriend of ten years had died.
“Christina was a stunning, caring lady, and I’ll miss her very a lot,” he stated in a press release to the Hollywood Reporter on the time.
Just a few days later, Clint’s daughter, Morgan Eastwood, shared a photograph with the couple, noting the “devastating” loss.
“A devastating loss for our entire household,” Morgan wrote of Sandera, who died on the age of 61 on July 18. “Thanks Christina for being an excellent associate to my Dad. You may be missed.”

Sandera’s reason for dying was cardiac arrhythmia, the Monterey, California, County Department of Health stated in a dying certificates obtained by Fox Information Digital.
Eastwood and Sandera saved their relationship non-public during the last decade. In line with the Hollywood Reporter, the pair first met when Sandera was employed as a number at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Resort and Restaurant in Northern California in 2014.
Sandera, who was a longtime resident of Carmel-By-The-Sea, California — the place Eastwood’s resort is situated — attended crimson carpet occasions together with her boyfriend. The final occasion the couple attended collectively was the world premiere of Eastwood’s movie, “Richard Jewell,” in 2018.
