A South Korean court on Tuesday accepted an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, who has been impeached and suspended from energy over his choice to impose martial regulation on Dec. 3, investigating authorities mentioned.
The Corruption Investigation Workplace for Excessive-ranking Officers confirmed the Seoul Western District Court docket accepted the warrant.

That is the primary ever arrest warrant issued for an incumbent president in South Korea, in response to native media.
On Monday, South Korean investigators sought an arrest warrant for Yoon over this month’s short-lived imposition of martial regulation.
Yoon is going through a felony investigation into potential revolt expenses.
