GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Customers Power is working to revive energy to hundreds of consumers following a Saturday morning storm.
What to do during a power outage
In response to the Consumers Energy Outage Map, as of about 2:45 p.m., over 29,000 clients throughout the state of Michigan have been with out energy. In West Michigan, the next outages have been reported in every county:
Few lingering showers and storms possible Saturday afternoon
Many of the energy outages in West Michigan have been estimated to be restored by the tip of Saturday, based on the map.
An area-wide wind advisory is in impact till 8 p.m. Saturday for non-thunderstorm winds gusting as excessive as 55 mph. Just a few northern lakeshore communities might gust above 60 mph. The strongest winds will happen from mid-morning by way of late afternoon.
