GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — A bicycle owner died after a bicycle vs. automobile collision Wednesday morning, in keeping with the Grand Junction Police Division.
The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with life-threatening accidents earlier than succumbing to the accidents sustained within the crash, GJPD mentioned.
The crash occurred round 10 a.m. at 2140 N. twelfth St. A driver touring southbound struck the bicycle owner, who entered the roadway. Life-saving measures have been supplied by space medical personnel earlier than Grand Junction Hearth Division emergency medical technicians arrived.
The southbound lanes of North twelfth Road — between Bookcliff and Walnut avenues — have been closed so the Grand Junction Police Division may examine the crash. The roadway reopened round 11:15 a.m.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Workplace will launch the id of the sufferer as soon as his subsequent of kin are notified.
