A Detroit pastor instructed Fox Information Digital that it’s “unimaginable” for pastors and Christians to be politically “impartial.”
“The gospel message is a political message. The Bible is a political e book from Genesis to Revelations. We see that the Bible is a political e book,” mentioned Lorenzo Sewell, pastor of 180 Church in Detroit, Michigan.
“It’s unimaginable to be politically impartial,” he added.

He has beforehand been a critic of identity politics.
“You will need to be religious since you are political. You can’t be a religious particular person and never be political,” Sewell added.
Sewell reacted to a story from the Washington Post detailing a Los Angeles pastor’s wrestle with uniting his church earlier than and after the presidential election.

Sewell instructed Fox News Digital that there are Democrats at his church.

“We do consider that it is vitally tough so that you can be a Bible-believing Christian and be a Democrat. We do consider that. Do I’ve Democrats in my church? Completely. We don’t consider that each Democrat is a demon, however we do consider that the Democratic platform is demonic,” he mentioned.
