British tennis star Emma Raducanu says she is feeling “optimistic” as she approaches an Italian Open marketing campaign that she feels affords a “recent begin”.
The 22-year-old arrives in Rome trying to bounce again from her second-round exit at last month’s Madrid Open, and she is going to face a qualifier within the first spherical.
And the previous US Open champion will face world No 20 Ekaterina Alexandrova if she progresses in what’s her second profession look on the Italian Open.
