Ex-NY State Senator Alessandra Biaggi confronted backlash on-line after telling a New York Metropolis man on X, who was upset over the brand new congestion toll, to “recover from it.”
Biaggi was responding to a video on Monday posted to X of an Upper East Side resident, recognized as Andrew within the put up, explaining how the congestion toll personally impacts him, discussing how he needed to “pay $9 to go across the block,” including that “one thing must be sorted out for Manhattan residents.”
“Lord Jesus, recover from it,” was Biaggi’s response on X.

This response by Biaggi prompted speedy backlash from customers on X, many feeling her response was insensitive.
“What’s your web value Biaggi and why do you hate working individuals a lot?” requested one consumer.
“‘Recover from it you poors!’ – Alessandra Biaggi,” one other mocked.
One other consumer responded, “Not all people has the cash to afford this. How are individuals going to easily ‘recover from it’ you insensitive clown.”

Biaggi’s subsequent posts to X have been flooded with “recover from it” feedback from customers reminding the ex-senator that her remark didn’t land nicely with them.
When requested for remark by Fox News Digital, Biaggi responded, “Congestion pricing is a contemporary answer to funding our subways. Any one that rides the subway is aware of that they are in determined want of updates that require funding. This could have occurred sooner.”

Biaggi added, “If New Yorkers need one thing to be offended about, it ought to be that [New York Gov. Kathy] Hochul is permitting Andrew Cuomo to spend hundreds of thousands of New York taxpayers’ cash to retaliate towards his credible sexual assault victims.”
