Former MLB pitcher Brian Matusz reportedly died of a drug overdose in Arizona earlier this month.
The previous Baltimore Orioles participant was discovered lifeless in his residence by his mom with a white substance in his mouth and drug paraphernalia close to him on the ground, the Baltimore Banner reported, citing a Phoenix police report.

Matusz’s mom, Elizabeth, instructed authorities that the previous athlete was battling drug points and had made remarks like “there’s nothing left for me” and he “used to have all of it.”
She instructed police he had been clear for eight months, based on the Baltimore Banner. Two days earlier than his loss of life, on Jan. 4, Matusz was taken to the emergency room for causes unclear.
