The federal authorities says it’s funding the Canadian Reconciliation Barometer Undertaking on the University of Manitoba to the tune of greater than $206,000.
The challenge, which started in 2015, displays the evolution of Canadians’ understanding of and progress by way of reconciliation.
MP Terry Duguid (Winnipeg South) introduced Friday on behalf of Canada’s heritage minister, Pascale St-Onge, that the funding will go towards initiatives together with the creation of an advisory council of elders and information keepers, and the event of studying supplies to assist educate folks.

The money for the challenge comes from the Canada Historical past Fund.
