The road, which was closed to pedestrians and autos, reopened about an hour later.
Police mentioned the investigation will not be associated to the Citadel High School threats, the place a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged this week. In that case, police allege the youth had threatened to carry weapons to the college, and seized “a quantity” of weapons from the teenager’s dwelling through the arrest.
