The co-hosts of the outstanding progressive podcast “Pod Save America” appeared on “The View” on Friday to elucidate the Democratic Social gathering’s failures in the course of the 2024 marketing campaign.
The three co-hosts and former Obama administration staffers, Jon Favreau, Tommy Vietor and Dan Pfeiffer, pointed to the celebration’s coddling of President Biden and his ambitions to run for re-election regardless of his age and poor polling, as one of many causes for Democrats being in such disarray.

Since President Donald Trump’s election victory in November, there have been stories of infighting within the celebration, particularly over the way it went about changing former President Biden with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Distinguished figures, like Home Speaker emerita Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., have slammed Biden’s group for him not dropping out of his re-election race early sufficient. She advised the New York Instances podcast, “The Interview,” in November, “Had the president gotten out sooner, there could have been different candidates within the race.”
Others within the celebration have slammed influential figures – like former President Obama and his allies – for encouraging Biden to drop out of the race and never having a very good playbook for changing him on the 2024 ticket.

Vietor replied, stating forward of Biden’s exit, American voters “have been rejecting his candidacy, and you may see it in polling and you may see it in primaries.” Slamming the celebration, he added, “And Democrats mentioned, ‘You already know what? It’s superb. All the things can be okay. Trump is dangerous and subsequently that can offset that.'”

Vietor added that the celebration must return to being sincere and pro-working class to turn out to be sturdy once more. “We received to get our act collectively,” he added.

Pfeiffer chimed in, stating, “If Joe Biden needs to spend the remainder of his days believing he would have gained, that’s a present we are able to all give him.”
