Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., joked it may be time for the pro-life motion to welcome the New York Occasions into the fold for a current headline from the legacy media outlet that acknowledged the “unborn” as kids.

The New York Occasions piece, which ran on Tuesday, quoted unlawful immigrants voicing their concern that their unborn kids won’t be acknowledged as residents.
The piece was in response to President Donald Trump’s executive order on Monday saying that the youngsters of unlawful immigrants and people born to authorized immigrants with momentary visas shouldn’t be acknowledged as residents.

The New York Occasions article quotes the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Modification which says that “all individuals born or naturalized in the USA, and topic to the jurisdiction thereof, are residents of the USA and of the State whereby they reside.”
