The three Israeli hostages freed by Hamas appeared to obtain “reward luggage” containing mementos from their time in captivity, following their launch on Sunday.
Hamas launched a video displaying hostages Emily Damari, 28, Romi Gonen, 24, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31, being handed paper luggage bearing the brand of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing, via the window of a car.
The hostages have been filmed smiling as they held up the luggage, which reportedly contained “items and souvenirs” of them in captivity, together with certificates.
Israeli media reported that every certificates was signed and inscribed with a “launch choice”.
In line with Israeli outlet Ynet, the luggage additionally consisted of pictures of the hostages whereas they have been in captivity and a map of the Gaza Strip.
