President Trump re-designated the Houthis as a terrorist group on Wednesday, based on the White Home.
In an government order signed on Wednesday, Trump stated that the terrorist group “threaten[s] the safety of American civilians and personnel within the Center East, the protection of our closest regional companions, and the soundness of world maritime commerce.”
“Supported by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Power (IRGC-QF), which arms and trains terrorist organizations worldwide, the Houthis have fired at U.S. Navy warships dozens of occasions since 2023, endangering American women and men in uniform,” the order famous.
