Evander Kane will return to the Edmonton Oilers lineup on Wednesday for his first recreation of the NHL season.
Head coach Kris Knoblauch says each Kane, a winger, and defenceman John Klingberg will play for Edmonton in Sport 2 of the group’s first-round playoff collection in opposition to the L.A. Kings.
Kane has not performed since June 10, 2024 when the Oilers performed the Florida Panthers within the Stanley Cup ultimate.

The bruising 33-year-old ahead was on a line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman throughout the pre-game skate.
He had belly surgical procedure to restore each abductors, two hernias, and two belly tears final fall, then underwent knee surgical procedure in early January.
