
A shopping centre in Lancaster has been evacuated following the invention of a suspicious bundle.
Lancashire Police mentioned a bomb disposal crew was on its method to the scene at St Nicholas Arcades on Monday morning.
Members of the general public have been urged to keep away from the world, and a few metropolis centre streets close by had been reported to be cordoned off.
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident was ongoing, whereas an announcement quoted by a number of retailers mentioned: “We at the moment have a cordon in place in Lancaster Gate, Lancaster.
“This was following a report we obtained at 6.32am {that a} suspicious bundle had been discovered close to to a property.
“Colleagues from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal crew are on their method and we ask folks to keep away from the world as a precaution.
