Leslie Charleson, recognized for her position on “Common Hospital,” has died. She was 79.
The Daytime Emmy-nominated actress portrayed Monica Quartermaine on the cleaning soap opera for practically 50 years.
“It’s with a heavy coronary heart that I announce the passing of my expensive good friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson,” government producer Frank Valentini confirmed on the present’s official Instagram account.

“Her enduring legacy has spanned practically 50 years on Common Hospital alone and, simply as Monica was the center of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the whole solid and crew. I’ll miss our day by day chats, her fast wit and unimaginable presence on set. “
