After forming a partnership with the Metropolis of Lethbridge in December 2024, the Lethbridge Path Alliance formally started its work on the coulee path system this weekend.
Volunteers gathered with instruments and power to scrub, trim and restore one of many metropolis’s oldest and most used trails.
Ralph Arnold, president of the LTA, has been working within the coulees for greater than 30 years. He says it’s rewarding to see folks coming collectively to look after trails which have been a part of the neighborhood for many years.

With extra path workdays deliberate, the LTA hopes their efforts will assist cut back path erosion and restrict the creation of unofficial paths.
Volunteer Matthew Tata says contributing to the hassle felt lengthy overdue.
