A 68-year-old former Lubbock Police Division Particular Investigator was arrested Monday in reference to an undercover prostitution operation, LPD officers mentioned.
Eric Harris is booked into the Lubbock County Detention Middle on a state-jail felony cost of solicitation of prostitution, in keeping with a LPD information launch.
His cost stems from what police known as a demand-reduction operation that started Sunday with the LPD vice unit at a resort in south Lubbock, the discharge states.

Harris, who initially retired from the LPD as a detective in August 2020 earlier than being re-hired in January 2023 as a civilian Particular Investigator, reportedly made contact with an undercover officer and made preparations to fulfill on the resort, the discharge states.
