Venezuela will resume accepting deportation flights from the US after Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro suspended the flights earlier this month.
Jorge Rodríguez, the president of Venezuela’s Assembly and chief negotiator with the U.S. introduced the change in coverage on Saturday.
“We’ve got agreed with the U.S. authorities to renew the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants with an preliminary flight tomorrow, Sunday,” Rodriguez stated.
He added that the cope with the U.S. secured the “return of our compatriots to their nation with the safeguard of their Human Rights.”

Rodriguez referenced the deportation of some Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador in his assertion. President Donald Trump’s administration has despatched some Venezuelan members of the Tren de Aragua gang to the nation.
“Migrating shouldn’t be against the law and we is not going to relaxation till we obtain the return of all those that require it and till we rescue our brothers kidnapped in El Salvador,” Rodríguez stated in an announcement.

Maduro himself referred to the Venezuelans held in El Salvador as “kidnapped” on Saturday.

In latest weeks, some 350 individuals had been deported to Venezuela, together with some 180 who spent as much as 16 days on the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
