A person in western Connecticut deliberately set his house on hearth to flee after allegedly being held captive by his stepmother for greater than 20 years with little meals and no medical care, authorities stated Wednesday.
Police, hearth and emergency personnel responded to studies of a burning house in Waterbury on February 17 and located a lady and her 32-year-old stepson on the residence, the Waterbury Police Division said in a statement.
