Manitoba’s police watchdog is investigating after the capturing demise of a person in a neighborhood close to the U.S. border.
The Unbiased Investigation Unit says RCMP have been known as this morning to do a wellness verify at a residence in Dominion Metropolis.

It says the primary responding officer was ready for backup when a person approached whereas carrying a metallic object.
The company says the officer shot the person after he continued to advance regardless of a number of requires him to drop the item.
RCMP say the 33-year-old man died in hospital.
