Mark Carney Sworn In as Canada’s 24th Prime Minister

I, Mark Carney, do swear that I shall be trustworthy and bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III, King of Canada, his heirs and successors. I’ll in all issues to be handled, debated and resolved in Privy Council faithfully, truthfully and actually declare my thoughts and my opinion. I shall preserve secret all issues dedicated and revealed to me on this capability, or that shall be secretly handled of in council. Usually, in all issues I shall do as a trustworthy and true servant should do for His Majesty. I, Mark Carney, do solemnly and sincerely promise and swear that I’ll actually and faithfully, and to the perfect of my ability and information, execute the powers and belief reposed in me as prime minister.
