Officers broke up at St. Patrick’s Day gathering close to the College of Dayton Saturday afternoon after a number of arrests and medic calls to the realm.

Based on a message despatched by the College of Dayton, medics had been referred to as to the 400 block of Lowes Avenue round 20 instances by 3 p.m. Police dispatch informed Information Middle 7, the calls had been for ‘unconscious males.’
Due to this, officers had been making an attempt to disperse crowds within the space for the security of responding crews. Based on the college, bottles had been thrown at officers and the group was not ‘heeding instructions.’
Officers then used ‘chemical munitions’ to disperse the crowds and 5 individuals had been arrested, based on the college.
Information Middle 7 spoke to individuals attending the occasion who stated they had been hit with pepper balls.
