New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt says her assembly with the governor of Massachusetts about strengthening the connection between the province and the state amid the continued commerce was “productive.”
Holt launched an announcement Sunday thanking Gov. Maura Healey for the assembly, saying the shut connection between Canada and our neighbours to the south is extra essential than ever.

The premier stated it’s essential New Brunswick and Massachusetts keep a “robust and open” relationship and stand collectively to defend their widespread pursuits as they each face the specter of the tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Holt says these tariffs might trigger vital hurt to employment and the financial system on either side of the border.
She says that amongst the entire provinces, New Brunswick is essentially the most depending on the USA, with 92 per cent of its exports destined for the American market.
