Leonard went into the medical tent on Notre Dame’s sideline with about two minutes left within the half after a play wherein he was hit by Penn State’s Zane Durant and Dvon J-Thomas.
It was not instantly clear what Leonard’s harm standing was. He was changed by Steve Angeli, and Notre Dame kicked a subject purpose on the ultimate play of the half to chop Penn State’s result in 10-3.
