
A passenger bus skidded off a cliff in Sri Lanka’s tea-growing hill nation on Sunday, killing 21 individuals and injuring no less than 14 others, an official mentioned.
The accident occurred within the early hours of Sunday close to the city of Kotmale, about 140 kilometers (86 miles) east of Colombo, the capital, in a mountainous space of central Sri Lanka, police mentioned.
Deputy Minister of Transport and Highways Prasanna Gunasena informed the media that 21 individuals died within the accident and 14 others are being handled in hospitals.
