American politicians, overseas dignitaries and relations honored former President Jimmy Carter at a state funeral held Thursday on the Washington Nationwide Cathedral.
Carter, the thirty ninth president of the US, died on Dec. 29 at age 100. Thursday’s service concluded three days of tributes to the previous president within the nation’s capital.
These in attendance included President Joe Biden — who delivered a eulogy — President-elect Donald Trump, and former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
