A 64-year-old Burnaby resident is pleading for the hit-and-run driver who struck her final week to show themself in.
Maria Espedido has seven damaged ribs, her liver and lungs are broken, and her proper arm is so severely fractured it required the insertion of a metal plate.
Final Wednesday, round 6:45 a.m., dashcam video captured photos of Espedido being struck within the crosswalk at Burris and Canada Approach in Burnaby. The motive force then fled.
