(Reuters) – A road efficiency by Ed Sheeran in India’s tech capital of Bengaluru was stopped abruptly by police on Sunday, outraging followers and prompting the British singer to subject a clarification.
Sheeran, wearing a white t-shirt and shorts was seen singing and enjoying his guitar on a pavement within the centre of Bengaluru forward of his live performance on Sunday evening.

Police mentioned occasion organisers had refused permission for the road efficiency, which was on one of many metropolis’s busiest streets.
“I refused to provide permission as a result of Church Avenue will get very crowded. That’s the reason he was requested to vacate the place,” Bengaluru police official Shekar T Tekkannanavar was quoted as saying by information company ANI.
Sheeran, who started his profession as a busker within the UK, mentioned in a while his Instagram account that he did have permission to carry out.
