Police investigating October death of infant in northern Ontario

Provincial police say its prison investigation department is now wanting into the loss of life of an toddler in northern Ontario final fall.

Manitoulin OPP say officers responded to a report of an unresponsive toddler at a house in Burpee Township on the morning of Oct. 1.

They are saying the toddler was pronounced useless at an area hospital.

Police say after forensic testing, the Manitoulin OPP Crime Unit is now conducting an investigation in conjunction with the coroner’s workplace.

OPP say they will’t launch extra particulars whereas the investigation is ongoing.

They are saying anybody with data is inspired to return ahead.
