A suspect has been taken into custody in reference to the killing of a senior Russian common in Moscow.
Although the individual was not recognized by identify, the suspect is a male citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan who was born in 1995, in line with the Federal Safety Service of the Russian Federation.
He’s accused of detonating an explosive gadget exterior a residential constructing in Moscow on Tuesday, killing Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov and his assistant, Maj. I.V. Polikarpov.

The suspect stated he was recruited by the Ukrainian particular providers to conduct the assault, which the company claimed duty for on Tuesday.

“On their directions, he arrived in Moscow, acquired a high-power do-it-yourself explosive gadget and positioned it on an electrical scooter, which he parked close to the doorway to the home of I.A. Kirillov,” a Russian assertion translated to English stated. “To observe the serviceman’s tackle, he rented a car-sharing automobile, put in a Wi-Fi video digicam in it, the footage from which was broadcast on-line to the organizers within the metropolis of Dnepr (Ukraine).”
