SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A 26-year-old San Francisco girl suffered deadly accidents throughout a snowboarding accident at Palisades Tahoe resort over the weekend.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Workplace recognized the skier as Ellery “Ellie” Dolan Curtis. In accordance with her LinkedIn web page, Curtis was an Alpine ski crew captain at Dartmouth School.
Curtis died after she took the KT-22 chairlift to entry snowboarding terrain on Sunday afternoon, a Palisades Tahoe resort spokesperson told FOX40.
The incident occurred on a difficult path generally known as “Ahhh Chute,” Powder magazine reported. Members of the ski patrol have been unable to revive her.

In San Francisco, Curtis labored for the California Public Utilities Fee.
“Ellie was a valued member of the CPUC, and she or he shall be deeply missed. She got here to the CPUC to guard the setting she cared about so deeply and was very enthusiastic about beginning her profession right here. Our hearts exit to her household, mates, colleagues, and all who have been touched by her kindness,” a spokesperson for the fee instructed KRON4.
Curtis graduated from Dartmouth School with a level in authorities and environmental research earlier than she moved to San Francisco in 2022, based on her LinkedIn web page.
