A sergeant with the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) has been suspended and is beneath investigation by Saskatchewan’s Severe Incident Response Staff (SIRT).
In a press release from Saskatoon police, they confirmed a sergeant was served a discover of suspension on Feb. 7 following an investigation by the Skilled Requirements Division.
“Because the matter is actively being investigated, and is non-public-facing, we’re not in a position to present any additional particulars right now,” the assertion reads.

International Information reached out to SIRT for touch upon the investigation and why particulars weren’t launched earlier.
They are saying on Jan. 30, SIRT started their investigation associated to non-public-facing conduct by a member of SPS.
