PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A semi truck with no trailer turned caught within the sand at Sundown Seaside, north of Gearhart, at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
A bunch of 4×4 lovers referred to as the Clatsop County Sons of Beaches helped tow the truck from the seaside. Sons of Seashores member Ben Doney advised KOIN 6 Information that the group will sometimes need to rescue semi truck drivers that enterprise out onto the seaside. Nonetheless, Tuesday’s driver picked an particularly unhealthy time.
“We see vans like this on the market every now and then, however he got here out at excessive tide which was a horrible time,” Doney stated.
